- Member of the Committee for the India Japan friendship year (2007) and served on the
Committees of the Embassy of India as well in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan.
- In 2002, nominated by the Govt of Japan as a committee member to organise celebrations
for the 50th Anniversary of Indo Japan Diplomatic Relations.
- Vice Chairman of the Indo Japan Business Cooperation Committee of the Japan Chamber
of Commerce and Tokyo Chamber of Commerce.
- Chairman of International Affairs Committee of the Japan Junior Chamber as well as a
Board Member.
- Vice Chairman of the Foreign Chambers in Japan (FCIJ), an apex body for all foreign
chambers of commerce in the Tokyo area.

funds to help handicapped children of Japan.
